Scooby Demotivate Intelligence by Jaguaro Scooby Demotivate Intelligence by Jaguaro
The Scooby-Doo Demotivation Posters are back! I have the pencil drawings as proof that I did these myself (see here at [link]), so don't try to ban them--they are original. I have the "proof." Ha Ha Ha...get it? Proof? Oh well.

In this artwork, I tease Velma Dinkley. The word is "Intelligence" and says "It will enable you to solve any problem. Except maybe getting a prom date in high school." Don't worry...I love the Velma character. And I'll be teasing Fred, Daphne, Shaggy and Scooby too! Look for more throughout December and January.

Intelligence always has been and always will be more important than getting a prom date.

Also, I imagine many smart girls can list multiple things that they would enjoy doing more than their high school prom.

Thank you for making this.

That's true! But in reality, she's the free agent, and has lots of boyfriends (live action, cartoon).

I'm one of those girls :XD: Thankfully I finally found the guy who chooses the Brainy Kid than the Bimbo. And he's the only one who knows my "hidden wishes and desires". :XD:

Hopefully Velma will find that type of guy too... and hopefully it's Shaggy. :XD:

If that's your picture on your site, then you must not have had too hard to look for any guy, but especially a brainy one. Must've had your pick of them!

PS: Ever read my fanfic "It's a Wonderful Mystery?" Check it out on my site.

I hope you do. I wrote it for all the Velma fans of the world, the guys and gals who resemble her and those who love them too!

Jag

PS: I'm not a Daphne hater, by the way. I think the fact that the two girls are friends speaks volumes as well.

Thing is, they do semi-get together in the new cartoon series, Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated I think it was called...but the thing about that series? I consider myself to be a loyal and patient Scooby fan, but DEAR MUFFINS. They KILLED the characters! I like the whole pairings thing but they've changed the characters too much...that series and the third live action movie - no no for me. I never saw the third live action film because it didn't look nearly as good as the other two - different actors and a less realistic Scooby. Ok. Rant over. xD

Dear Muffins...I love that. I like the series, but respect others who disagree. They made two made for TV live action films that were cute.

Lol, I've never said 'Dear Muffins' in my life before. xD It just came out. And the series is ok, it's just, my main problems with it are that Scooby wouldn't be jealous if Velma dated Shaggy. Scooby loves all his friends. And Fred, who had comical tendencies to be oblivious, is now much too oblivious to Daphne. ^^'

It's a great catch phrase.

And yeah, while I love the humor and sarcasm in the first one, there are a few annoying moments.

yup im a dane, not the dog, and not a cookie -
compareable, well they had the yearly hay party in old times,
but no'one want to do that anymore cause its old,
sadly - but we have atleast 2 conventions for manga and game fans -
YAY OTAKU CONVENTIONS!

Just learned that Copenhagen had an old Latin name originally.

would not suprise me -
if Rome was Roma and Paris was Lutetia Parisiorum
then Copenhagen would proberbly be something along the lines of Havn or Hafnia
which means Harbor ^w^

It was something to do with Hafnia, because they named an element for this Latin name for Copenhagen (where it was discovered).

the town became the biggest because it was the place all deals were made, of any kind - even tho it started as a small fishing village, all the ships coming to its harbor made it grow super big super fast - das was called Havn originally - KÝben can be KÝbmans staden, which means the traders town, or KÝb en Havn - which directly translated would mean something like "Buy a Harbor" lol - Hafnia sounds cool enough.

Agh, I love Velma so much. I think she's flippin adorable. If she was in an anime she'd be a moe-moe meganekko.

I always think of the Scooby gang as pre-anime or at least early anime (proto)? What's the term mean? Am intrigued.

Well, anime started in Japan in the 60s and American animation was pretty much uninfluenced by it until the 90s or so, so Scooby Doo isn't pre- or proto- anime. It would make an awesome anime, though... =w=

Meganekko is a glasses-wearing girl that's meant to be cute. A stereotypical example would be that green girl from Tokyo Mew Mew. And moe-moe... is such a beautifully indefinable term... I guess it's sort of like "fetish" but with less sexual connotations...?
